About Me
My name is Suzette Loudenburg. Opening and operating my own grooming business has been a dream for a very long time! I don't consider working with people's pets as a job. Grooming people's pets is a career choice where I can work with animals, which has always been my passion.
I grew up with a myriad of animals around me. I brought home any animals I came across; wild, injured, homeless. I know I tested my parents last nerves! In 2002 I started my career in grooming by going to work as a kennel tech at a grooming /boarding business. Soon I moved into grooming assistant as bather, brusher full time.
From there I began to to move on to clipping and scissoring. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work and learn under two of the most talented and patient groomers in the Four Corners.
During the time I was learning to groom, I assisted my friend who is a professional show dog handler and traveled with her to shows all over the country. I also had my smooth fox terrier Romeo and began showing. Traveling to dog shows is alot of fun and educational as I am able to study and observe all breeds of dogs and further build my grooming skills. I have also added a wire fox terrier to my family. She is my little diva and thus began my education to hand stripping which I enjoy doing alot. Romeo has retired as a show dog and now considers the couch his throne! Petie (pictured at top) was my 1st Terrier and love. He was the one who has now made me a Terrier Lover forever.
In 2oo7 ,my husband and I remolded his man cave into my grooming facility, from there I have built a list of wonderful cliental some whom are featured in a little video I put together.
