About me

My name is Suzette Loudenburg. Opening and running my own pet grooming business is a life long dream. I don’t consider my working with people’s pets to be a job. Grooming people’s pets is a career choice where I can work with animals, which is something that I love.

I grew up with a myriad of different animals around me. I probably tested my mom’s last nerve by bringing home any animal I came across that was wild, homeless or injured.  In 2002 I started my career in grooming by going to work as a kennel tech/assistant for a grooming and boarding business as a second job. In a very short time I became a full time employee and I moved up to learning how to brush and bath dogs and then on  to clipping and scissoring.  I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to work and learn from two of the most talented and patient groomers in the Four Corners area. 

In 2007, my husband and I built my grooming facility and from there have built a list of wonderful cliental, some of whom are featured in a little video I put together .

During the time I was learning to groom, I assisted my employers by traveling with them to dog shows all over the country. I have my own dogs which I show in my spare time. I adore my two Fox Terriers. Romeo is a retired Champion who now considers his throne the sofa and lazy chair. My little diva, Moxie, a Wirehaired Fox Terrier is still working on her championship title.  My first fox terrier, pictured with me at top of the page was ‘Mr. Peterman’ who absolutely sold me on the terrier breed. I still have a wonderful time traveling with my dogs (when I have the time) which is also educational. Pet styles and always evolving and traveling to shows gives me the opportunity to study all breeds of dogs and further my grooming expertise.
